The Hermitage – Burj Al Arab, Dubai

Well, you probably had already guessed where we would be headed this week for The Hermitage, Burj Al Arab, Dubai, how could I resist!!

Arguable one of the most spectacular pieces of modern architecture in the world, the Burj Al Arab is perhaps the most recognisable building in Dubai. It sits, as though floating, on an artificial island just off Jumeirah beach. It may be only the fourth tallest building in Dubai, but the combination of the sailboat structure and the hotels location, make this design one of the most captivating.

Aside from the architecture, this hotel offers luxury facilities and only the finest of service right from the moment you arrive in Dubai. Forget a bus or taxi airport transfer, why not take advantage of the hotels helicopter service, arrive in style with the added bonus of getting a bird’s eye view of Dubai on the way. Scared of flying? Then perhaps the chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce or Mercedes is more up your alley!

Once at the hotel you will check in to one of the extravagant 202 duplex suites. Each floor features a private reception and personal butlers to fulfill your every need. There is also an in-house Spa & Healthclub, four swimming pools, the private beach and eight restaurants and bars.

This hotel really does meet all expectations so it is no surprise to hear that it has been repeatedly voted as the World’s most Luxurious Hotel.
