The Hermitage – Ace Hotels

The Ace Hotels are a chain of boutique hotels in Portland, Seattle, New York, Palm Springs, London and one opening this year in Los Angeles. The rooms in these hotels vary in style, but all ooze the same relaxed, casual coolness with a little  vintage edge.

Most rooms feature beds covered in gloriously cosy blankets created exclusively for Ace Hotels by Pendleton. They have become a bit of a trademark of the chain, and the plaid or moose designs add a preppy, masculine feel to the decor. The New York hotel also features walls adorned with the works of local and international artists resulting in each room evolving a unique personality.

The only ACE hotel which has a dramatically different vibe is Palm Springs. It features equally amazing bedding designed by Nina Garduno at Freecity in LA, plus some beautifully boho rugs and floor cushions. The rooms also come with record players and old vinyl records for you to relax, how cool is that! The vinyl is available to purchase so you can return home with a soundtrack as a permanent reminder of your escape if you wish.

The bedding and many other items are available to purchase online from the Ace Hotel store, just in case you decide you cannot return to your normal life without these new luxuries! Add in the vintage leather lounges and the fact that most of the chain are pet friendly, and I just cannot decide what I love most about this series of hotels!
