The Hermitage – El Palauet Living, Barcelona

I have never really been a fan of stained glass windows but I was smitten as soon as I saw this first image of El Palauet Living in Barcelona.

This beautifully renovated building from 1906 meshes period ornate ceilings and stained glass with modern designer furniture and fittings. (How many famous furniture designs can you name in the following images?!)

Essentially staying at EP living is like having your own amazing apartment on the best street in Barcelona, Passeig de Gracia. The building is separated into six modernista suites that are fully equipped with everything you may need from a kitchen to an office space. Enjoy views of the famous street outside and Tibidabo Mountain as you control your internal environment using the latest technology of touchscreen controls, music up, lights dimmed, now we are talking! Plus this place is pet friendly (I know, can you believe it?) so bring your pampered pooch along too!

There is a minimum stay of two days but I’m sure you won’t mind, especially once you discover the private spa on the rooftop terrace for hotel guests only, ahhh bliss.

That first picture is so beautiful. I love stained glass on period buildings. Can I just say I really like the grey palette they use. It looks fantastic.
