Now let’s step beyond the use of string.

How amazing are these pieces of furniture by Vito Selma? Visually you can see how they draw their inspiration from string art but I love the unexpected material choice. The wood is challenged to bend and twist to mimic the patterns normally formed by a flexible twine. The result is an a captivating piece of furniture that is different from every angle.

My favourite is the first coffee table “Geo”, it has such a great form to it that appears to almost flow beneath the glass tabletop.
