Bedtime Story

Everyone is familiar with bedtime stories, and heirloom quilts have been used for generations as a form of storytelling, but I believe this is the first time I have ever encountered the two combined in such a fresh and modern way.

Each design by Comma Workshop incorporates original pieces of poetry or writing that act as decoration but are also the stitches that bind the layers of material and creates that quilted texture.  Similar in nature to traditional heirloom quilts, each one is machine quilted by hand and therefore, is a one of a kind creation with its own little quirks and differences.

Made to order in Colorado USA, these quilts could be the new generation of the Heirloom tradition.

How beautiful are these. We have a christening early next year and this would be a perfect gift.

Wow, they’re really subtle and amazingly detailed up close. Beautiful.
