Patched Up

Looking for something unique, a piece with character, a history, and a whole lot of attitude? Patchy Rugs just might be your ticket.

They stock the most unusual rugs I have ever come across, re-dyed kilim rugs or patchwork creations. Traditionally kilim rugs are flat woven tapestry rugs used for decoration or prayer and can generally be distinguished by their earthy tones and geometric patterns. Patchy Rugs modernises these classics through creating a patchwork of the various patterns or the process of over dying. Both treatments result in a unique textural finish that is so unusual and one of a kind.

As fascinating as I find these rugs, I’m not really sure what side of the fence I sit on with them. What are your opinions? Would you like a Patchy Rug in your home? Post a comment and tell me what you think.

  1. Thanks for featuring Patchy Rugs! We love them but we are a bit biased!

I really like these. Would make the home feel very lived in and homey. Not bad prices too.
